4 drawer chest – Measure and cut eight pieces of cardboard to 1 foot by 1 foot 7 inches each. Holding pieces horizontally, two 1-inch squares cut from the two lower corners of each. You should now have eight pieces each measure 1 foot 5 inches by 11 inches with flaps on both short sides and a flap on the long side. These are the front and rear sections of the drawers. Second, measure and cut eight pieces of cardboard measuring 1 foot by 1 foot 5 inches. Score and fold an inch from the edge of the long side of each. These are the side walls of the drawers.
Third, measure and cut four seats in cardboard measuring 1 foot 5 inches by 1 foot 5 inches. These are the tray 4 drawer chest bottoms. Fourth, hot glue a 4 log rectangular piece to the two beat 1- rectangular pieces that fit against the short sides. Hold long lugs of each piece facing the same way. Hot-glue a second 4- struck rectangular piece to the opposite short side of 1- fluttered rectangular pieces. You should now have a bottomless box. Hot-glue a 1 foot 5 inches square to the remaining flaps.
Repeat steps 4 and 5 until you have two drawers. Last, Measure and cut four rectangles 1 inch with 3 inches and four rectangles to 1/2 inch by 2 inches. Glue the four large rectangles front and center on each drawer. Then glue the four smaller rectangles around important. These serve as drawer pulls. The cardboard 4 drawer chest is finished.
