Newport Beach is a community built on the beauty of the Pacific Ocean. The city of Newport Beach began on August 21, 1906 when the communities of Balboa, Newport and East Newport decided to incorporate into the city we all love today. The Newport was once used as a shipping port and was reclaimed back into a harbor in the late 1930s.
Newport Beach has been divided into several different neighborhoods: Newport Beach, Newport Heights, East Newport, Balboa, Balboa Island and Corona Del Mar. Living in the heart of Orange County, the residents of these communities enjoy a luxurious lifestyle surrounded by the beauty of the Pacific Ocean and the opportunities of Southern California.
