What happens at a Laemmle Movie Tuesday
event?
We meet before the film, chat a bit, get some popcorn & sodas
(do you know we get discounts on concessions??), watch our film,
and walk nearby for coffee/snacks afterwards to chat about the film.
It's a great way to meet new friends with common interests!
How do I save money on tickets?
You can save up to 40% off Laemmle Theatre tickets for our
Tuesday night events - but you must RSVP on the My People Connection
website. We provide a list to the person in box office, so your
name on that list means you only pay $6 instead of $10 for your
ticket. Please note: This special price is ONLY given
to folks who RSVP on our site. It will not be given
to members who "just show up."
How can I save money on concessions?
The Event Coordinator (EC) who plans your event will pass out
money-saving vouchers off concessions 15 minutes before the show,
so be sure to get there early. One voucher we've used gives us $1.50
off with purchase of any size drink and popcorn. Factor that in
with our ticket savings, and you've just saved $5.50!
What if I arrive late and don't see the
group?
We meet in the lobby after the show, so look for our EC then.
After the film, we'll walk somewhere nearby for coffee/ snacks/
dinner/ desserts - whatever everyone feels in the mood for. We'll
discuss the film and give you a chance to meet other independent
film fans.
What if I just want to see the movie?
We understand a lot of folks work early in the morning, so if you
can join us for coffee/snacks, great - we'll keep it brief. And
if you'd rather get some shut-eye, that's fine, too. We're happy
to have you join us for some great movies.
How can I host a "Laemmle Movie Tuesday"
event?
That's easy - just join
our team of Event Coordinators. Several times each
month, ECs are sent a newsletter detailing upcoming films to host.
ECs are leaders in the My People Connection community - and they
also get great perks, like seeing some of their favorite movies
for FREE.
