LAPC helps build confidence in people, developing
social skills.
The commitment of the group to meet other people
with common interests has been very successful —
unparalleled in Los Angeles.
The Guerrilla Theater "play-in-a-day" program [created
by LAPC] was a great challenge that brought many people
together, working to achieve a specific goal. Not knowing
the other people involved was icing on the cake so we
could learn from each other in an uninhibited environment.
[Ed. Note: For our first GT production, we had
nearly 400 audience members, and over 300 auditioned
for the show. We were also featured online in Citysearch
as the number one theater event of the week and in Backstage
West as the number one event to audition for that
week.]
The Guerrilla Theater project was beyond anything I've
ever experienced before. The organization of the entire
project from start to finish was unbelievable!
