My friends think I have a social life...And I'm even
beginning to believe it myself!
I always wanted to try new activities, but hesitated
because my friends weren't interested, and I don't like
doing anything alone. Now, I can really try anything
because I know someone else will join me and as Lord
Byron said: "He who joy would have, must share it!"
What first attracted me to the group was Jen, who founded
LAPC. She's...so normal! I came to one of her events,
and I was hooked. The atmosphere was genial and easy,
and everyone seemed there for the same reason —
to make new friends, to have a good time and get the
best out of LA.
I've enjoyed all of the events, but I really love games
and so will have to go with the original murder mystery
dinner. Everyone brought something delicious to eat,
there was wine flowing, and murderers to be unmasked.
What else can you ask for on a Sunday night? Then of
course, there's Sunday morning croquet and Saturdays
at the Derby...Ok, so I organized those events, but
it still counts, right?
LA has a reputation for being a mirage in the desert,
a haven for bad, wanna-be actors and congenial flakes.
LAPC is NOT about that. It's a social club that lives
up to its expectations — fun and frivolity on a
higher level!
